I'm a Louisiana native, a working jazz musician, session musician, born into and immersed in the home of Jazz, Blues, Cajun, Zydeco, Soul and Swamp-pop. I grew up playing with saxophonists John Hart (of Clifton Chenier, etc.), Dickie Landry (of Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Talking Heads, etc.) and more. I've shared the stage with artists from all around the world-- playing styles such as: Afro-pop, Reggae, Latin, Swing, Modern Jazz, Rock, Soul, R&B, Funk, Folk, Roots, etc.
Over the years, jazz and instrumental music have become my major concentration, beginning with Modern Jazz Movement, circa 1997.
Experience:
* 30+ years performance, recording and engineering experience. I started playing professionally live and in studio at age 16.
* Live and recording audio engineer for 20 years. I've consulted on several major venues' construction and renovation projects, and I've designed audio installs professionally.
*Advertising jingles and session work with Greybeard Recording Studios, RightNote Records, Skerrett Recording, Windmill Studios, and others (remotely and in-person).
Currently, I handle booking and management of a 2,200 seat performing arts center while playing concerts close to home and recording music. I've helped to raise six amazing kids with the loving support of my incredible wife, who is school teacher, mentor and my best friend.
